Working closely with Congress, the U.S. will commit $55 billion to Africa over the course of the next three years across a wide range of sectors to tackle the core challenges of our time.

It will give peace of mind to millions of LGBTQI+ and interracial couples who will finally be guaranteed the rights and protections to which they and their children are entitled to. Can you just highlight the ones that you’re concerned about and how the U.S. is going to work with these countries?
He has given — he has given his almost entire career to civ- — to civil service, public ser- — as a public servant. I’m thinking of Congo, Sudan, and South Sudan that are having big ones next year. We’re not approaching this from the point of view of coercing other countries. That’s not how the United States is going to operate with respect to countries in Africa. First of all, as you know, a lot of African countries have held the line against condemning Russia. Has the U.S. communicated any possible consequences of maintaining that stance? What are the consequences if they continue to not choose a side in this?
